GreenPath Debt Solutions breaks ribbon on Farmington Hills HQ

Posted on August 1, 2012

GreenPath Debt Solutions, a nationwide, non-profit financial counseling organization that assists consumers resolving their debt burdens, plans to cut the ribbon on its new headquarters in Farmington Hills on Wednesday.

The 125,000-square-foot building, located near 12 Mile Road and Halsted, will house the organization’s call center, which employs about 300 counselors now, as well as GreenPath’s administrative staff.

The new headquarters will allow GreenPath to consolidate all its metro Detroit area employees under one roof, said Jane McNamara, president and CEO.

“This day has been five years in the making,” she said. “This new call center and headquarters will serve our clients and staff for the next 50 years and we are so proud to have built it in southeast Michigan. It was important for us to remain loyal to metro Detroit and keep the company headquartered here.”

The building and surrounding amenities area cost $27 million to complete and are set on 10.5 acres, including two acres preserved wetlands.

More than 4,600 Michigan residents started a GreenPath debt management program in 2011, a portion of the 15,556 debt management plans GreenPath help set up nationwide in 2011.
