Title Source Inc., a national title and closing services agency that relocated its headquarters to Detroit from Troy last summer, announced plans Thursday to hire 375 employees for its Detroit office by March, according to a press release.

Last year, the company moved 1,100 employees to the First National Building, as part of an overall plan to have 1,500 employees based in Detroit.

The new hires, who also will be based at the Dan Gilbert-owned building, will complete that objective, said John Richter, a Title Source marketing specialist.

Title Source occupies roughly 50 percent of the First National Building, Richter said.

“We’re encouraged by the continued growth of our teams across all of our locations and business channels,” Jeff Eisenshtadt, president and CEO of Title Source, said in a statement.

The release said the company also would hire an additional 25 employees at locations in Pennsylvania, California and Texas.
